With 'Obsidian Soles: Gilded Fetish,' I aimed to capture the raw, unbridled essence of stiletto high heel fetishism. My vision was to create a piece that isn't just seen, but felt, evoking a visceral reaction to the power and allure of the iconic stiletto silhouette. I employed a dramatic interplay of thick impasto textures, building up layers of obsidian black to give the canvas a palpable depth. The leg, enveloped in intricate fishnet stockings, emerges from the darkness, drawing the eye down to the meticulously detailed glossy patent leather of the heel and its dominating ankle strap. The vibrant gold leaf accents and dripping gold paint serve not merely as decoration, but as a symbolic celebration of the opulence and fetishized luxury associated with these powerful objects. Each brushstroke is charged with the energy of desire, focusing intently on the exquisite tension of the arch of the foot and the inherent seductive control of the stiletto. This artwork is a testament to an unyielding artistic passion.

As with all pieces in the vault, this is a strict 1-of-1 edition. Once a collector claims these soles, they are retired forever.
